About Panoptica

A Better Way to Build the Finance Function.

Panoptica was built around a simple idea: growing businesses deserve more than disconnected accounting, tax, systems, and advisory services.

We bring those disciplines together to build stronger finance functions, better processes, smarter systems, and clearer information for decision-making.
Why Panoptica

Finance does not operate in isolation.

Accounting affects strategy. Strategy affects tax. Systems affect the information leaders have available to make decisions. Processes affect how efficiently work gets done. Controls affect the reliability of the information. And the decisions being made today shape what the business will need tomorrow.

Yet businesses are often forced to manage those areas across disconnected providers, systems, and internal teams.

Panoptica was designed differently. We look across the finance function and the business around it, connecting people, process, technology, financial expertise, and strategy so the pieces work together.

Sometimes that means serving as the entire finance and accounting department. Sometimes it means augmenting an existing team. And sometimes it means stepping in to solve a specific operational, financial, systems, tax, or strategic challenge.

Whatever the engagement looks like, our goal is the same: understand the whole picture, solve the right problems, and build solutions that work in the context of the business as a whole.

Our Approach

Better finance functions are built at the intersection of four things.

We bring these perspectives together rather than treating them as separate workstreams.

01

People

The right expertise, ownership, accountability, communication, and development at every level of the finance function.

02

Process

Clear, efficient workflows and practical internal controls that make work more reliable without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

03

Technology

Systems, integrations, automation, and practical AI applications designed around how the business actually works.

04

Insight

Reliable financial information, thoughtful analysis, and strategic perspective that help leaders understand what matters and decide what comes next.

How We Work

One partner. The right level of support.

Panoptica meets businesses where they are. We can own the finance and accounting function from top to bottom, provide fractional CFO or Controller leadership, augment an existing team, lead a transformation initiative, or step in for a focused project.

Our work can span CFO-level strategy, forecasting, scenario planning, decision support, controllership, close, reporting, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, tax, systems implementation, process improvement, automation, AI enablement, and the transactional accounting required to keep the business moving.

The model should fit the business, not the other way around. As needs change, the level and mix of support can change with them.

We do not approach finance as a collection of disconnected tasks. We look across the function, take ownership of making it work, and stay focused on what the business needs next.

Leadership

Experienced finance leaders with complementary perspectives.

Panoptica combines strategic financial leadership with the operational discipline required to make a finance function work in practice.

Managing Partner

Trisha brings a rare breadth of experience across the finance function, with a career spanning Big Four public accounting, corporate finance, financial reporting, treasury, transactions, tax, strategic finance, and CFO-level leadership.

Having worked with businesses from nearly every angle, she sees beyond the numbers to understand how finance connects to operations, strategy, systems, people, and growth. Her strength is identifying where those connections break down and transforming the processes, systems, and structures behind them to create a finance function that is more efficient, scalable, and useful to the business.

That perspective became the foundation for Panoptica. Trisha believes great finance functions do more than report what happened. They give leaders the insight, structure, and confidence to understand where the business stands, anticipate what comes next, and make better decisions along the way.

What We Believe

The principles behind how we work.

See the whole picture.

The best solution rarely lives inside one account, process, system, or department.

Build it right, not just for right now.

Today's solution should make tomorrow easier, not create the next problem.

Technology should make people better.

Systems, automation, and AI should remove friction and elevate human judgment, not simply add more tools.

Good controls are possible at every size.

Even when perfect segregation of duties is impossible, thoughtful review and accountability still matter.

Financial information should drive decisions.

Reporting should help leaders understand the business and determine what comes next, not merely document what already happened.

Clients deserve transparency and straight answers.

We communicate clearly, surface issues early, and tell clients what we believe they need to know.
